Vincent DiPersia's Bio:

Vincent DiPersia PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, CAMT Vincent received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Touro College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Maimonides Award for his class. He has been working with Palisades Rehabilitation since 1998. Since then, he has attended many post-graduate seminars pertaining to manual/manipulative therapy, sports medicine and corrective exercise prescription. He has a special interests in gait restoration and lower limb biomechanics. Vincent is Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) from the American Board Physical Therapy Specialists. In addition, he passed his examinations to become a Certified Advanced Manipulative Therapist (CAMT) and was selected as a teaching assistant for the CAMT program. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), this assists with treatment programming and design for the sports medicine population and the higher level athlete. He currently delivers ongoing, televised talks on athletic orthopedic topics--including ACL pathology and female knee injury prevention. Vincent's research article on manual therapy of the shoulder was published in the July 2009 issue of the Journal of Body Movement and Therapy. In 2011 he completed the Hospital for Special Surgery's "Advanced Hip Clinician" certification program--a six month professional credentialing and education program designed for therapists providing focused care for patients with pre and post surgical hip disorder. Upon completion of this program the Hospital for Special Surgery's Medical Doctors, who specialize in surgical and non-surgical care for the hip, refer to physical therapist who have completed this program.

    Northern New Jersey's satellite clinician for Surgeons from Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). The programs emphasis is on hip preservation and preventative medicine. Evaluation and treatment for common and complex hip disorders, in both non-operative and operative cases. These cases include the everyday person to the professional athlete who seek care from HSS's hip surgeons. Such conditions include, femoral acetabular impingement (FAI), acetabular labral pathology, pre-arthritic hip disease, dysplasia, pubic symphysis and sacroiliac conditions, hypermobility/laxity, sports hernia, bursal and ligamentum teres pathologies, snapping hip syndromes, and gluteal tendonopathy.
